Fifth Grade Graduation

Friday, July 15th, 2011

Summer is the time for reflection, as we make plans for the coming academic year and reflect back on what was really important during this past year.  Thinking about the highlights of 2010-2011, our Fifth Grade Graduation of course comes to mind!PHSgraduating class2011-MAIL-crop for Website
Our graduation at PHS is a combination of speeches as well as drama and music. Each year the graduating class has a theme. This year our children were exceptionally talented in the arts. Although their academics were strong, they reflected the whole child concept in their dramatic efforts at graduation. Their singing, dancing, and speech-making were stellar. I’m sure that this event will always be a part of their memories, as it will be with ours!

Happy Summer!

Happy Summer, Everyone!

Here at Peninsula Heritage, we are officially enjoying our summer. We have many events for our students that are still available for sign-ups:

Leaps enables each child to know and work with their new teacher for the fall. Leap into a lively academic review and readiness program. The cobwebs are gone and the brain becomes very polished for September’s school opening. This program runs from August 22-26, from 9:00 am to noon each day.

If your child is in need of fine motor activities, our splendid program of Handwriting Without Tears from August 15-19 (9:00 am to noon) is just perfect. Students learn and improve printing and writing skills in an encouraging and nurturing setting.
