I love teaching Math and Science to the incredibly intelligent students at Peninsula Heritage School. It is my pleasure in exposing them to the importance of the mathematical world around us and all that it encompasses. As for Science, I strive to create engaging lessons that will unleash their creativity and curiosity about the Earth that we inhabit.

I am a graduate of California State University Long Beach where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Language and Literacy. I continued my education at CSULB and completed my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through the College of Education. I am a member of Pi Lambda Theta, which is the National Honor Society for Teachers.

My work experience includes working in the Long Beach and ABC Unified School Districts with grades K-12th and Special Needs children. I’ve worked as a Program Leader/Tutor for the Long Beach WRAP Program and THINK Together where I helped students with homework, attended several training workshops, organized fun Physical Education games and kept an open line of communication with my parents. Lastly, I have worked as a Lead Teacher for several years in a summer camp in downtown Long Beach that caters to underprivileged children grades Pre-K through Eighth.

In my spare time my husband Robert and I enjoy traveling to Tucson, Arizona to visit our family and friends. We are active members in our community of Long Beach, and enjoy going to the numerous California Landmarks.
