Teaching technology at Peninsula Heritage School is very rewarding. The children have great enthusiasm for learning to use computers, digital cameras and video recorders. They light up and are fascinated by these ubiquitous tools which I also find so interesting and am eager to share with them the passion I have for technology.

My interest in technology grew through the years. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Communication. I continued my education at Ottawa University in Phoenix where I received my teaching credential and then moved back home to Southern California. When my daughter was 3 years old I found Peninsula Heritage School for her to attend preschool and I immediately fell in love with the nurturing environment. That first year of her preschool I became a substitute teacher for the school. The following year I was asked to teach part-time in the Learning Lab.

To further my own education I took a multimedia applications class at USC. That class was the catalyst for my specializing in educational technology.

I have worked at Peninsula Heritage School for 13 years now as the Technology Director. My love for technology took me back to school once more and I attended Pepperdine University where I achieved my MA in Educational Technology in 2004. My daughter graduated from Peninsula Heritage School the following year, but my love for PHS, the children and the staff kept me here.

I live in Rolling Hills Estates and I volunteer at my church. I enjoy going to movies, skiing and traveling - especially to see my family in Greece.
